Model Cover Cases

HDS Model Cover Cases are custom made to display models, be they small models large models.  We can provide a secure modern looking cover case that will not only display but protect your model for years to come.  We have built cases to display items such as scale models of the Titanic and HMS Victory right up to large model sets of new Retail and Residential sites under construction.  

Constructed using our aluminium frame system in either a polished or satin silver finish, we can build cover cases for smaller models using our slim 20mm aluminium profile, or for larger model we use the 32mm profile.  Toughened or laminated glass for all the clear surround panels. There is the option of the case being a lift over and on style where the model is on a base panel and the case is lifted over the model and positioned on the base panel, or the case has the base built in and access is via sliding or hinged doors to one side.  These are the most common styles but we have built cases with lift out glass tops or open backs to wall case as described in a couple of the descriptions below.  Options also include powder coated coloured framework, lighting and base panel colour or fabric covered.

A large model of The Titanic was displayed in this
 cabinet.  This one had an in built laminate plinth
 and access was via a hinged locking door to one
 end.

 inside and then the case was fixed back to
